Easter Egg by Eret

Easter Parade Stamp Set #945 comes with adorable images and beautiful sentiments. But I wanted to use this stamp set a bit different way.

Supply list:
Easter Parade Digi945;
Wild Rose Digi785;
Bubblegum Glitter [G1088];
Lemonade Glitter [G1091];
Silver Super Thick Embossing Powder [EP467];
Bluebird Super Thick Embossing Powder [EP471];
Spring Lilac Super Thick Embossing Powder [EP473];
Happiness Super Thick Embossing Powder [EP474];
Sakura Glue Pen [Quicky];
Nuvo Clear Mark Embossing Ink [101N];
Nuvo Deluxe Adhesive [200N];
Distress Ink Shaded Lilac, Pearls, Pattern Paper

I used line art egg from the Easter Parade digital set, made it larger and printed it out to a regular printer paper. I used it as a template to cut out three eggs from thin cardboard. I adhered them all together. After inking top and the edges of the egg with Nuvo Clear Mark Embossing Ink, I covered it with Silver Super Thick Embossing Powder and used the Heat Tool to melt the powder. By using the lower speed, I managed to avoid the powder to fly off. I repeated this step a few times until the egg was fully covered. Then I added more ink and sprinkled Spring Lilac Super Thick Embossing Powder to the lower part and Bluebird Super Thick Embossing Powder to the top part of the egg and melted the powder with the heat tool. After the egg was cooled down, I adhered some pearl swirls to it.

I used a digital version of the Wild Rose Digi785 Stamp Set to print out some pre-colored flowers in various size. After cutting them out, I added some sparkle to them with the Sakura Glue PenBubblegum and Lemonade glitters

The sentiment is from Easter Parade digital Set. I used a paper trimmer to cut it in size and inked the edges with Shaded Lilac Distress Ink. I also adhered one small pearl swirl to it.

I used pattern paper as the background. I sprinkled some Bluebird Super Thick Embossing Powder and Happiness Super Thick Embossing Powder on top of it and melted the powder with the Heat Tool from underneath the paper. I inked the edges and back sides of the two corners with Shaded Lilac Distress ink and curled the corners up. Underneath the curled up edges, I adhered a piece of cardstock which was heat embossed with Bluebird Super Thick Embossing Powder.

This was my take of the Easter Parade Stamp Set. I hope you got some ideas and will share your makes with us.
