Stamp set comes with two individual flower images, I only used one. To make a flower cluster I had to do some masking. I started with stamping one big flower with Versamark ink to a watercolor paper and heat embossed it with Gold Detail Embossing Powder. Then I stamped same image with random color ink to a Post-it note paper and fussy cut it out with scissor to make my mask. I placed the mask on top of the stamped flower and stamped two more flowers to its sides same way as the first one.
Flowers and leaves are colored with Nuvo Aqua Flow Brush Pens from Spring Meadow set (Soft Rose, Fresh Green). Background is colored with Hickory Smoke Distress Ink mixed with a bit of Aqua Flow Fresh Green. Flower centers are covered with Honey Gold Nuvo Glitter Drops.
Sentiment is stamped with Versamark ink to a piece of black cardstock and it's heat embossed with Gold Detail Embossing Powder. I used corner rounder punch to round up two of the corners. Then I took Versamarker Pen and covered three edges of the cardstock with it. Again I used Gold Detail Embossing Powder and melted it with heat tool. Some dots of Honey Gold Nuvo Glitter Drops was also added.
To add some interest to the gray background around the flowers I took a bit of White paint and diluted it with water. With small paintbrush I sprinkled some paint to the background.
I wanted more black to my card so I made a black matting layer. For that I covered edges of cardstock with 1/4" Double Sided Tear-ific Tape and adhered image layer in center of it. Rest of the tape was covered with Black Suede Microfine Glitter.
All stamping was done with Tim Holtz Stamp Platform. It is must have tool if the surface you are stamping is not smooth. You can stamp with it in same place as many times as you need. Another thing I used to get second and third flower stamped exactly to the place I needed was full sheet of acetate. I placed the stamp in the middle of Stamp Platform lid. Then I placed acetate to the corner of the Platform and stamped the image to it with colored ink. While keeping the acetate in the corner I placed the cardstock underneath to the acetate. I moved the cardstock until flower on the acetate was in perfect place. I added magnet to keep the cardstock there it needed to be, removed the acetate and stamped the image to the cardstock.
