Hello, Diane with you today with a fun technique using glitter and lace.
First find a nice size of a wider width lace.
Cut a piece of white card stock for the front of your card
and add 2 rows of 1 1/2" of Tear-ific Tape making sure there isn't any gap between them.
Trim any excess off the ends.
Lay your piece of lace down over the tape and first add Cloud Nine Glitter
covering the lace completely.
Carefully pull the lace off and add a second color of glitter.
I used Mauvelous glitter.
Now your background is finished and it is time to stamp!
Using Corner Garden Stamp Set, stamp the flower image twice
with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and stamp the Butterflies twice as well.
Color with Copics, then fussy cut out using Tonic 5" mini Scissors.
to each flower center and to the butterflies.
Place your butterflies and flowers as shown on the background panel using foam dots.
To finish, stamp the sentiment with Versamark,
then emboss with Key Lime embossing powder.
Give this technique a try using various lace designs
and I was even thinking of trying this technique on a black card stock base.
Thank you for visiting with me!
