Little Purse Gift Bag

Hello, Diane with you today with a fun gift bag to create.

You will need a small lunch/craft bag.

I purchased mine from a local craft store.

I will give measurements that I used for my bag, but keep in mind,

it all depends on the size bag you use.

Start by cutting off top of bag, and leaving approx. 4".

Cut a piece of card stock 6 1/8 x 6 1/2",

and another piece  4 1/2 x 5 1/2.

Score down 2" from the top on the large piece as shown.

Cut 3 pieces of a designer paper

2 at 4 x 4 1/2

1 at  2 x 5 1/2.

Apply paper to card stock pieces (look at finished bag pictures for reference)

Make marks at top of back piece (not flap) and punch through both layers.

this is where you will add your ribbon 'purse strap".

Cut a piece of ribbon approx. 10" for purse strap/handle

Run ribbon through, under the flap (see finished photo).

I taped each ribbon piece down.  add card stock pieces to the front and back of bag,

leaving the 'flap' piece free to fold a purse.

Using 1 1/2" Tear-ific Tape , add a strip to purse front flap,

going over the designer paper.

I added Waterfall Glitter to that.

Stamp the Corner Garden image on bottom right front corner with Versamark,

then emboss with Black Detail Embossing Powder.

Color in with Copics.

Using Versamark once again, stamp 3 single flowers  and 2 butterflies from the same

Corner Garden set.

Color in with Copics.

Use Tonic 5" mini scissors to fussy cut out.

Die cut 2 Tutti Designs Nesting Stitched Tags, stamp the hello greeting

from Flowers Silhouette set using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and attach to ribbon handle with twine.

Decorate front of bag with butterflies and one flower

and add 2 remaining flowers to back of bag with pop ups.

Add velcro dot to purse flap to close.

Here is a side view.

Fill finished bag with candy or any smaller gift item!
