I thought I would share with you a card we did as a Make and Take at Stampfest Florida this past weekend. We used a lovely large image of one of the digital stamps in the Showers of Tulips stamp set. As a digi, you can resize this stamp, and print it in color or black and white. I decided to go for the color image. I sized it to fit a standard A2 card.
I then sprinkled the background with Super Thick Black Embossing Powder, an area at a time, to have more control. Once I was happy with the background, I used the Versamark Re-inker, and colored in all the dark areas on the tulips. I then used mulberry embossing powder and heat set it. (You could use any pink and cardstock to match. I just happened to have this cardstock color and chose a pink that matched.)
The sentiment is heat embossed with black embossing powder. I then angled my background paper on an angle, and the image piece as well, cutting off the excess by turning the card over to see where it hung off.
Remember to visit our store to see all our latest stamp sets and new Super Thick colors...check out my new favorite ( which I had the privilege of naming!), Oil Slick.
That's all for now, have fun,
