No line watercolor technique has always been intimidating to me. But with Vintage Peony Inspiration it is super easy. The key is to use any kind of stamp platform tool, right cardstock, and water-based markers.

I used cheap Watercolor Brush Markers and Bristol Smooth Cardstock. First I placed the cardstock and the stamp to the Stamp Platform. I colored the stamp (one section at a time) with markers and stamped the image to the cardstock. I repeated it until it was all stamped. Then I took a small paintbrush and a bit of water and colored it all in. It wasn't necessary to add any more color, it transferred from the lines very well. After coloring was done, I let it dry and then placed it back to the Stamp Platform. I re-stamped the image with the same markers to get the details back. Deeper shadows were drawn in with markers.
Even though you can't see on the photo, the flower is covered with Aqua Shimmer Glitter Gloss Pen. The center of the flower is covered with Dimensional Glue and Sun Dazzle Flocking.
The sentiment is from the same stamp set. Is stamped with Nuvo Clear Mark Embossing Ink and heat embossed with Military Green Embossing Powder. I used a stitched rectangle die to cut it out and colored it with yellow Aqua Flow Brush Pen.
The background is colored with Nuvo Aqua Flow Brush Pens from various sets. After it was dry, I stamped the leaves from the image all around the edge with Nuvo Clear Mark Embossing Ink and heat embossed some of them with Military Green Embossing Powder and others with Sunshine Embossing Powder. Neon Super Thick Embossing Powder was sprinkled to the background and heat embossed from underneath the cardstock.
I inked the edge of the background with Nuvo Clear Mark Embossing Ink and heat embossed it with Military Green Embossing Powder. Some lace was added as embellishment.
Thank you for the visit!
