Here's a list of products used on my card today:
- Stamps: Lil Leprechaun Digital Stamp Set [DIGI3154JM]
- Embossing Powders: Super Thick Gold [EP235]
- Glitter: Champagne [G1045], Shamrock [GM2041]
- Coloring Mediums: Copic markers (for grass), chalk
- Adhesives: SNS Sticker Paper , Precision Glue Pen [206N]
- Tools/Dies: Glitter Brush [SG1400], Tonic Basics Rectangle dies
I first started out by placing the Lil Leprechaun digital images (pre-colored versions) from the stamp set onto a Word doc. and then moving them around where I wanted them to appear on my card front. I resized the clover images and arranged them around the pot of gold and then placed the sentiment off to the side where I wanted it to appear and then I printed out the panel and cut it out with a Tonic Basics Rectangle die. I used a couple of different Copic markers to make some "blades of grass" around the pot of gold and clovers. Then I took some chalk and sponged in some colors to make a rainbow behind the pot of gold. Then I decided to take the Super Thick Gold EP and sprinkle it on around a couple of the corners of the card front and heat set it in.
For the layer behind my image card front panel, I wanted to add some more gold, so I took a piece of the SNS Sticker Paper and burnished in some Champagne Glitter over it. It is VERY helpful to have the Glitter Brush handy to help wipe off the excess and clean it up! Note: The sticker paper is somewhat thin, but it helped because I've added several layers of cardstock between it to help with stability, so keep that in mind if you use this method.
Then, of course, I had to use the Shamrock Glitter for this card! I took the precision glue pen to add "dots" in the center of the clovers and covered them with that. I also used this pen over the coins in the pot and then covered them with some more of that Champagne Glitter to accent the layer and make everything really glitzy! It's fun to see all of the sparkle on this card in person!
Thanks so much for stopping in today! I hope you've enjoyed my card and have inspired you in some way with the new March release!
