Do you miss Spring already? I'd be happy to skip 3-4 months to go directly to spring. Here is one spring inspired card made with Early Spring Nest Stamp Set.
Early Spring Nest 932;
Bird Song 496;
White Detail Embossing Powder [EP298];
Denim Microfine Glitter [GM2033];
Purple Fig Microfine Glitter [GM2047];
3/4" Tear-ific Tape [SAT05];
2 1/2" Tear-ific Tape [SAT15];
Dimensional Glue ;
Tonic Eastern Oyster Layering Basic Die Set ;
Nuvo Clear Mark Embossing Ink [101N];
Tonic Jasmine Sunset Layering Die Set [1110e];
Nuvo Deluxe Adhesive [200N];
Sakura Glue Pen [Quicky];
I used one of the pre-colored images from the digital stamp set of Early Spring Nest. Some Purple Fig Microfine Glitter has adhered with the Sakura Glue Pen to the little blossoms. The same glitter is also on the circle shaped matting layer.
The decorative rectangle behind them is cut with dies from the Tonic Eastern Oyster Layering Basic Die Set. Openings on it are covered from behind with3/4" Tear-ific Tape. I added Denim Microfine Glitter from top to adhere to the revealed tape. Another shaped layer adheres behind all of it. This gives a clean look even if you watch the card from the back side. Eggs are covered with Dimensional Glue. This glue dries clear and shiny and keeps its dimension.
I used the Glueless Glittering Technique to make some sparkly feathers. I stamped the feathers from the Bird Song Stamp set with Nuvo Clear Mark Embossing Ink and heat embossed them with White Detail Embossing Powder. Then I sprinkled some Denim and Purple Fig Microfine Glitters To them and heated with the heat tool from underneath. Glitter melts into the embossing powder and you can brush off the rest. Feathers are fussy cut with scissors and used as embellishments.
Background papers for the card front and for the inside are made in the same way. I stamped punch of feathers from the Bird Song Stamp set with Nuvo Clear Mark Embossing Ink and heat embossed them with White Detail Embossing Powder. I used the largest die from the Tonic Jasmine Sunset Layering Die Set to die cut two panels (the same die was used to make the card base). Then I used scissors to cut both panels all around slightly smaller. One panel was inked with Wilted Violet and other with Salty Ocean Distress inks. Edges of both panels were covered with Sakura Glue Pen. To the purple background, I added Purple Fig Microfine Glitter and Denim Microfine Glitter to the blue background.
The sentiment is from the Early Spring Nest Stamp Set (digital). It is cut out with a die from the Tonic Jasmine Sunset Layering Die Set. Edges are covered in the same way as are on the blue background. Word 'Spring' is covered with Sakura Glue Pen and mix of the Purple Fig and Denim Microfine Glitters (leftover from the glittered feathers).
That is all for Today from me. Here is how my easel card looks then it is closed.
Thank you for the visit!
